Met them on a holiday,
in a field without any maps,
Cornwall camping far away;
both caused the tent to collapse.
Two mad dogs and English fun,
learn to swim a doggy crawl,
out they ran in the midday sun;
no words, woofs, just doggerel.
Fred was showing James the way,
a key part in this cabaret,
jump in the sea, “ woof, like me”,
James stopped but Fred doggy free
swam quickly back to the large rock,
climbed up, nudged him, “woof, it’s easy”,
James did not think twice, but took stock
then dived, “ woof woof,easy peasy”.
